Gradually and gently, Invisalign aligners work to create the smile you’ve always wanted – all without disrupting your daily life. Let us help you achieve a confident smile in a way that’s as unique as you are.
At Inspired Dental Care, we utilise advanced technology to make your Invisalign experience as seamless and effective as possible. Here’s how your journey unfolds:
Step 1: Digital 3D Scan and Treatment Planning
Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. During this visit, our Implant Surgeon will examine your teeth and gums, take X-rays, and discuss your treatment goals. A personalised treatment plan will be created to ensure the best results for your unique needs.
Using our state-of-the-art intraoral scanner, we create an instant 3D digital preview of your teeth. This advanced scanner eliminates the need for traditional dental impressions, offering a more comfortable and precise experience. The 3D scan helps us design a tailor-made Invisalign treatment plan that addresses your unique smile goals.
During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns and goals for your smile while showing you the projected gradual changes your teeth will undergo throughout the treatment. Once the plan is reviewed and approved, we’ll arrange for your custom Invisalign aligners to be created.
Step 2: Wearing Your Aligners
Your clear aligners are designed to be worn constantly and should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. Each aligner is slightly different from the last, gently moving your teeth into their ideal positions.
Step 3: Maintaining Oral Health During Treatment
Keeping up with regular hygienist visits is crucial during orthodontic treatment. These appointments help ensure your teeth and gums stay healthy while your smile transforms.
With Invisalign, you’ll experience a clear, comfortable, and personalised path to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted.
Invisalign® Lite is used in cases where the overcrowding or cross over is less complex.
Invisalign® Lite consists of a maximum of 14 custom-made aligners and the treatment is often completed within six months.
Invisalign® Lite is suitable for most cases of minor overcrowding, slightly crooked teeth, small gaps between teeth and badly positioned teeth.
DismissThe custom-made Invisalign® aligners are clear, removable and comfortable so they won’t interfere with your appearance or your life whilst gradually moving the teeth to the desired position.
The aligners are to be worn all day (and night) and only removed to clean your teeth/aligners and, of course, eating.
DismissInvisalign Teen® is a system designed for teenagers without the added worry of dental problems and visible braces.
Invisalign Teen® is the same as the adult product, but with a handful of key differences to allow for the fact that your mouth is still developing and that your permanent teeth are still growing.
Invisalign Teen® also includes six replacement aligners, to reduce the worry of losing them and is designed to fit into your busy lifestyle allowing you to play your favourite sports, wind instruments and maintain your normal dental hygiene routine.
DismissWhy Choose Inspired Dental Care for Invisalign?
At Inspired Dental Care, we’re committed to providing exceptional Invisalign treatment backed by expertise and the latest technology:
Invisalign® are clear, removable aligners, which shift your teeth into a straighter and better position through gentle movement.
For the best results, Invisalign aligners should be worn for 20–22 hours a day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking (except water), brushing and flossing.
Yes. After completing Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear retainers to help keep your teeth in their new position and prevent them from gradually moving back over time.
You should remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water. This helps prevent staining, damage and unnecessary wear. Remember to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in.
Most patients attend Invisalign check-up appointments at our Exeter dental practice every 6–8 weeks. These visits allow us to monitor your progress, provide your next aligners and ensure your treatment is progressing as planned, helping you stay on track towards your new smile.
