At Inspired Dental Care we advise our patients based on the best practice guidelines. Today’s scientific evidence suggests that even when oral hygiene is kept at excellent levels, bacteria collects in the pockets around your teeth where no toothbrush or other dental aids can reach. As a result regular visits to the hygienist are necessary to maintain a healthy mouth.

At your oral health examination your dentist will recommend how often you should visit the hygienist. Smoking, medical conditions, medications or past history of chronic gum disease may have influence on the frequency of visits regardless how excellent your at-home cleaning is.

Due to such a high demand for hygienists in the current years, we have increased our Hygiene clinicians’ diary hours. This means we can accommodate more patients old, current and new! At Inspired Dental Care our dental hygiene diaries are open 6 days a week to try and accommodate all.

DIRECT ACCESS HYGIENIST EXETER

You don’t have to be a registered patient at Inspired Dental Care to benefit from our hygiene appointments. If you only wish to have access to our hygiene treatments, you only need to self-refer to us and book your appointment. We guarantee you will receive exactly the same friendly and professional service as our own long-standing patients and you will still have the option to rebook for your next visit.
