We carry out a scan of patient’s teeth using our brand new intraoral scanner to produce an instant 3D digital preview of treatment options. This new Intra-Oral Scanner removes the total need for dental impressions.This helps Invisalign create a tailor made treatment plan, specific to the individual patient. The aligners are to be worn constantly and are only to be removed to eat, drink and for brushing.
Your Invisalign® journey will start with a consultation, where your concerns and personal wishes for your smile will be assessed alongside your digital 3D scan taking place. This will show the gradual changes your teeth will go through from start to end of treatment. Once the plan is reviewed and discussed with you we will arrange for a set of bespoke Invisalign® aligners to be made.
Patients wear each clear aligner for two weeks before changing to the next. Each one being slightly different from the last, they will move teeth gradually into the desired position. During treatment patients will visit us regularly, usually every 6 weeks, so we can monitor progress and provide next sets of aligners. It is very important to keep up regular hygienist visits during orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign® Lite is used in cases where the overcrowding or cross over is less complex.
Invisalign® Lite consists of a maximum of 14 custom-made aligners and the treatment is often completed within six months.
Invisalign® Lite is suitable for most cases of minor overcrowding, slightly crooked teeth, small gaps between teeth and badly positioned teeth.
